Faceware Retargeter Video Tutorials
There are many video tutorials available for Retargeter, but here are a few of the basics to get you going.
Download Free Facial Rigs Or Use Your Own Characters
Looking for a free facial rig to use to test out the Faceware animation pipeline? Browse our library of characters below and get animating right away with free rigs for Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Motion Builder and Softimage. You can even download and try out the actual facial rig used on The Emily Project in 2008.
Already have a facial rig you’d like to try out with Retargeter? That’s even better! Retargeter works with any type of facial rig, there are no special setup requirements, proprietary nodes, or plug-ins required. Anything that can be keyframed can be driven with Retargeter. It’s been built from the ground up to accommodate any type of character and we’ve kept it light weight and versatile so that it can easily fit into your animation pipeline.
IMPD Performance Library
FTI teamed up with Hollywood casting pros, Blindlight, to give our users a library of over 100 free IMPD performances to download and animate. Download the IMPDs right here from the site and get started animating with a variety of actors and performances. Search and filter videos by gender, actor, category and more to find an acting style that will suit your project’s specific needs.
